I do say, this is an incredible piece of art. if i had to say something was critiqueable here, it would be that i think you could have made luna's eyes more defined, instead of having glowing balls.

otherwise, this piece of artwork is incredible. i love the scenery, the image, and how everything symbolizes Luna and her past. like other critiquers have said, it does seem like she is running from her past and trying to make amends.

Yet the image that she was Nightmere Moon stll haunts her in her worst, most despicable, gut wrenching, scary, twisted, nightmeres

There are very many My Little Pony fan arts that I like, but very few that stand out from the crowd and gives the characters the feelings that I see in fan fictions. This is the best example that I have personally seen. I love the way that it kind of looks like she is running away from her past as Nightmare Moon, with a some what shameful look in her expression. I also noticed that Nightmare's mane trails off into the clouds and incorporated the nature background (very nice touch). It does my heart good to see that a brony (or pegasister) loves Luna as much as I do and I hope to see more of your work.

I don't know how many times I've just been lazily browsing through DA, and then seen this. And everytime I just have to stop and look and absorb every ounce of detail it has to offer. The flow of the brushstrokes, the choice of colours and how it all just fits togheter and works so amazingly well!
And today it all truly moved me to tears.
